I feel that the only time when the horses get to stretch their legs is though few minutes here and there during the show, and thats not enough for their physic and well been. 13 likes, 0 comments - Medieval Times Chicago (medievaltimeschicago) on Instagram: 'Ready for your unforgettable knight out Experience a show like no other at the castle this wee. I know this is DOABLE but we all have to unite together. One day a week the horses to rest from the show and to be free in nature to recharge and breath the fresh air and enjoy the sun. I am a firm believer that the animals needs to be in the nature freely. I am an animal lover and couldn't help to notice the horses inside the cages of concrete facing the wall they were depressed overworked. The 2 hours show was entertaining and well planned throughout. It was a well entertaining experience, the food was plenty, the tomato soup was cold though. Even the faithful pooper-scooper following. All the knights now perform with face coverings. We decided to enter the show as it was paid for and we had 5 other friends of my son with us. Employees wear masks and face shields at Medieval Times in Kissimmee on Wednesday, July 22, 2020. We went to the Medieval Times yesterday for my 16 years old son`s Birthday. What I thought was hysterical about that situation was that Christmases were highly celebrated in Medieval castles so acknowledging the day would have actually been in keeping with the authenticity of the show. Like they could get in trouble if they were overheard. Like saying Merry Christmas to a server when we were leaving and they looked around and then whispered Merry Christmas back. The guests were friendly and wishing others a Merry Christmas but it was almost like the people working were warned not to say anything. With regards to going on Christmas day, I feel like they went out of the way to not to acknowledge that it was Christmas day. Chicken was moist and they gave to-go bags for all the leftovers. As far as the meal goes, it was better than I expected. Only one brave knight will be named Champion of the Realm and Defender of the Throne. There was no "priority seating access" and everyone had cheering banner so I'm not sure what those are supposed to mean on the website. Cheer your knight to victory as he competes against other knights of the realm astride magnificent Andalusian stallions in medieval games of skill, dangerous sword fights, and an authentic jousting tournament. I thought for sure that our seats would be better since we made sure to get there early and were the 3rd family to check in at the VIP window. There are 3 sections on each side of the arena and we were in a side section towards the middle. We did purchase the Royalty upgraded VIP seats but I'm not sure it was worth it since I guess almost everyone has VIP seats. The other people who spoke were fine but no one in our party could understand the queen (and we are around many Hispanics day-to-day and don't usually have issues understanding). Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament is an epic family-friendly adventure based on the glory and chivalry of the Middle Ages. So glad that it didn't smell like horse! The storyline of the show was a bit difficult to follow since the "queen" had such a thick Hispanic accent. The show was very good and we loved seeing the performance. After the show we visited the amazing gift shop and purchased our memories for this year's experience! Thank you Midieval Times for all that you do and for existing with such am amazing show for us that LOVE that century. We went on Christmas day for dinner. What a FANTASTIC □ show, went tonight for my daughter's golden 20th Birthday who had a blast, we had such a great time and loved our red and yellow knight, he was such a crows pleaser and ended up pointing to my youngest daughter which got her a flower, she was in all her glory and it completely made her night! The food was great, the show was amazing as always being my 3rd Midieval Times appearance, it does not get old, we are making this a yearly tradition now to go along with our yearly Renaissance fair visit, my first show was when I was 16, my dad took me in a limo to the Schaumburg Chicago castle □ for my sweet 16 I had the red and black knight, then to pass the tradition because at that moment I fell in love with anything Midieval I took my now 13 yr old to the Orlando Castle for her 12th Birthday who had the white and black knight and did the celebration package and was knighted by the most beautiful queen ever, and today my oldest daughter for her golden birthday at the Orlando castle with the same celebration package and got her knighted by the same glorious queen.
